About Megan

I'd describe my personality as hardworking, empathetic, and compassionate. I like tutoring because I love sharing my passion for learning with other students. I am currently a junior at SMU studying Finance. Having been a student for 14+ years I have gained invaluable skills and observed behaviors of many different students and teachers. I am passionate about using these skills to give back the knowledge I have gained over these years. I started tutoring when I was a freshman in college. I started out tutoring for Partners in Opportunity, a nonprofit organization in Dallas. Since then, I have worked as a private student tutor for a high school student (6 hours weekly). I specialize in math, English, and business, though I am able to prep and teach nearly any subject for any level below 12th grade. My skills include communicating technical skills, organization, and helping students accomplish their goals.
