My love for special needs children started when I was 15 years old. I got adopted into a family who had a special needs daughter. Over the course of three years I formed a bond with her that could never be broken. I graduated from high school and went off to college. While in college I work in a daycare for 3 years. I love working with children, but my heart was still with special needs kids. For the past year and a half I have been working at a Developmental Treatment Center. I have had the privilege of working one on one with four sweet special needs children!
