About Mechell

I started working in child care in 2007. I worked in home with a sweet little girl that suffered from Shaken baby syndrome. I was responsible for feeding her, getting her dressed, physical therapy, playing with her, reading with her, etc. I worked with her for a year. I then graduated from high school and went to college. While in college, I worked in a child development center for two and a half years. While working at this CDC, I had the privilege of working with a special needs child. It was then I decided to work with special needs children. For 18 months, I worked for a developmental treatment center. I worked with 4 sweet 3 and 4-year-old children with developmental delays of all kind, I then got married and move to Georgia. In March, I started working for a family with a 5-week-old and a 2-year-old. I loved every bit of it! It was a very sad day for me when mom finished all of her schoolwork and no longer needed me. I am looking for a family that will allow me to continue on with my passion which is helping, teaching, and loving children. I would like to bring my 2-month-old son with me to keep him close!
