I value compassion, kindness, and curiosity with the children I care for. Open communication is quite important so I tailor my approach to each family's preferred method, whether it's through written daily reports or direct conversations. When it comes to household rules, I believe in following the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. From outdoor sports to crafts, or educational games, I enjoy a variety of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. My background includes a masters in management, a bachelor's in International Studies, and a minor in Chinese Studies (I speak Mandarin at an intermediate level). I'm more than happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I get along very well with animals, especially cats and dogs. I have a written letter of recommendation from the mother of two boys I cared for in NC, and other references I am able to send as well!
