About Meaghan

I've been babysitting and nannying for 10 years. I worked as a Kindergarten teacher at Grace Church School and previously spent three school years as a frequent substitute teacher (3+ x/wk) and taught 5 after school classes/wk at St. Luke's School, working with kids ages 4-14. I live in Bed Stuy and am a native New Yorker so am very comfortable with getting around/public transportation. I grew up doing theater. I got my Bachelors of Science from NYU and completed 2 years of grad school at Fordham for Childhood Education. In recent years, I have been a babysitter for 3 different families all with 2-3 kids, ages 2-12. Experience with learning disabilities/differences (autism, dyslexia, ADHD) I recently left a 5 days a week, set hours babysitting job because I needed more flexibility as I work on career transitioning. I am looking for a job that would ideally be for occasional nights. I am also available to work weekends.
