Hi, I'm McKenzie! I am currently working as an SSN para at a middle school. I work with children of varying abilities in grades 6, 7, and 8. I absolutely LOVE my job! I love being able to work with the kids one on one and to see all of their progress! I feel like I make great connections with each of them. This job to me is very rewarding, and I look forward to going to work everyday to see the students. As a para, I go to general education classes with the students and provide one on one support and lesson modifications to fit the individual student and their abilities. I also work alongside the students in the SSN classroom and provide toileting services and transitions from different mobility aids.
