About Mckenzie

I am currently a senior at Penn State majoring in Secondary Education with a concentration in English teaching specializing in ESL. I'm passionate about helping children reach their full potential, which is why I'm excited to be a childcare provider. I have always loved working with children, and I have over four years of experience working with children. I believe effective communication is crucial, so I always follow the parents' preferred method and promptly address any issues that arise. Regarding household rules, I firmly believe in following the parents' lead and ensuring a consistent and safe environment for the children. I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing soccer. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, and I have experience with children from newborn to 18 years old. I have taken coursework in early child development and have completed both First Aid and CPR training along with being a certified lifeguard. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
