About Mckenzie

I've spent the last decade as an Air Force officer and then a defense contractor managing and developing weapon systems. Before that, I was an au pair living with several prominent DC families while I studied at American University. While I pivot to a slightly different career and get my masters, I want to do what I love which is help kids grow and explore the world. I also have experience as a camp counselor, tutor, swim instructor, and soccer/softball/rugby coach I can help your child with homework, create new games, draw/paint/sculpt, go on adventures, take them on hikes (I have a Wilderness First Aid & CPR cert), teach them to swim, and own a very safe 4Runner (with clean record), and an active TS/SCI clearance--so you know I'm not going to make off with the silverware or doing drugs. I also consider myself a good cook and wine pairer--so if you, moms, just need a night off, I can help you with that--from the shopping to the clean kitchen. (It's 2025, so Dads--you too.)
