I am in the elementary education program at Kansas State, with an emphasis in special education. I have experience being a para-educator that worked with a student on the spectrum at school and at home. I tracked behavioral data, deescalated tense situations, and helped the student learn in their own way. I was responsible for enrichment activities and lessons. I followed a homeschool plan when at home, and also worked with the general education and special education teacher at school. I attended IEP meetings and therapy appointments when needed. I have a passion for working with all people and love to build relationships.
