About Mckenzie

I have a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration. I was a nursing home administrator for a year. I realized I don't have a heart for business as I thought. I have always dreamed of becoming a nurse and decided to pursue my dreams of becoming a nurse and I begin school again this spring. Since leaving administrative work, I went back to being a CNA. I initially became a caregiver in college because I have always felt a deep sense of empathy and a desire to help others in need. Watching loved ones face challenges, whether physical or emotional, made me realize how much of an impact compassionate support can have on their lives. I wanted to be the one who could make a difference by providing comfort, care, and a sense of security. The experience of helping someone navigate their struggles brings me fulfillment, knowing that I can bring relief and hope when it's needed most. Being a caregiver allows me to connect with others in a meaningful way and to give back the love and care.
