About Mckenzie

Hi, my name is Mckenzie! I am currently a preschool teacher in a childcare center. I have been in a center for 2 years but have ove 5 years of experience with children. I am first aid/CPR qualified, and I have numerous trainings in Early Childhood Ed. I am also in college right now. My degree is Early Childhood ed. I am 19 years old and will be 20 in the fall. I have reliable transportation. I am good with animals. I also have experience with kids with special needs. I do not drink, smoke, or do any kind of drugs. My hobbies are horseback riding, shopping, and reading. I do believe being gentle is effective, and do not yell at children. I will be stern when needed, especially if it has to do with the child's safety. I will draw a line if the child is harmful to me or other children. Kids will be kids, and sometimes, they can get aggressive. It happens. If it is repetitive and I am constantly being harmed, I no longer feel safe. I hope that I am considered for your child's care.
