About Mckenzie

Hello! My name is McKenzie, + I recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree human development and family science (HDFS). I hope to one day pursue a career in becoming a child life specialist. In addition, some of the college courses I have taken is children + society, child development, manage behavioral context, developmental curriculum, and parenting skills. Aside from courses taken in the past, I have had 10 years worth of hands on experience as well. I have been a nanny (Ages 7, 7, & 11), lifeguard (Ages 3+), interned at Goddard Preschool (Age 4), activities director, help out with St. Jude fundraisers, and presently work for a company (All ages). Each child is unique in their own way, and acknowledging the following concept helps ensure the correct ways to go about socialization, healthy, activities, and helping them strive by meeting their own developmental milestones/tasks.
