About Mckenzie

Hello! My name is McKenzie, and I'm looking for a full time nannying position as I finish my masters in library and information sciences. I have spent the past two years as a nanny caring for two amazing girls who are now ages 2 and 4. My previous role was as an assistant teacher in a daycare where I worked with kids ages 8 weeks to 10 years. I also nannied during my summers in high school for a toddler and older school aged child. I can easily get to know and understand a child and their needs very well. My English degree, minor in Gender and Women's studies, and the work I'm doing for my masters, influences my style of caregiving, making me an empathic and community oriented nanny. I have adult/infant CPR certification and able renew food handlers and fingerprint clearance card. Additionally, I am comfortable with dogs and cats, as well as doing household chores.
