About Mckenna

I am very experienced with children of all ages (0-12). I have references available upon request. I have a lot of experience w/ special needs. I coach special needs individuals (ages 5-42) with varying disabilities and have worked one-on-one with a 3-year-old child with Batten disease (mental impairment, seizures, progressive loss of sight and motor skills) in a school and home setting. I have also cared for two children with autism and one child with cerebral palsy in a school setting. I have experience as a nanny for twin 11-year-olds and also have work experience in after school programs. I currently tutor at Linus Pauling. I love children and have worked in professional and personal settings with all ages. I am very comfortable working with individuals with varying disabilities and have become very calm in my immediate response to emergencies, due to working with a child with abnormally high seizure activity.
