Growing up, I had many interactions with children with special needs, such as in my classes or at my job. During the summer of 2012, I helped out with a tennis camp for students with special needs. It was such a great experience that left me even more passionate for helping out people with special needs. It further taught me the importance of caring and patience as well. Additionally, I took an intro to Special Education class through my education program at Clemson University that taught and prepared me for further experiences.
