Hello! I'd say my personality is easy-going, understanding, and loving. I work with kids because I believe every child deserves a safe person in their corner to support them. I started working with youth when I graduated college in 2021 and have experience in special education, applied behavioral analysis, and therapeutic teaching. I am comfortable with intensive behaviors/high-needs kiddos. Currently, I am employed at a public school district, as a Behavioral Support Specialist. I'm looking for a job that I can work full time for the summer while school is out. In my spare time, I am in grad school to become a LPC. I enjoy crafts, music, & the outdoors. I can speak friendly in American Sign Language and am familiar with AAC devices & PECS. I am a certified substitute teacher, with 3+ years of training in safe crisis management, CPR/first-aid, seizure response, & wheelchair transfers . My skills include behavior support, academic help, and trauma-informed care.
