About Mayra

I'd describe my personality as Professional, Caring, Empathetic I like caring for seniors because it gives me a sense of fulfillment to know I am caring for someone in need. I started caring for seniors years ago when a close friend/former manager from San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center contacted me to care for a close family member. After that experience I fell in love with caregiving. In my spare time, I like to do art and cook One thing you should know about me is my background has been administration. Around 10 years ago, I was introduced to caregiving and fell absolutely inlove with it (given the fact that as a child I remember my mom doing caregiving) Caregiving has given me a sense of purpose knowing I am helping assist not only a family member in need for their loved one but also the patient who has fallen ill or can no longer do what she/he once could. My skills include patience, organization, helping provide ease, assistance and comfort to the family
