My name is Mayra, I am 30 years old and I have been a professional nanny for the past 6 years and I am looking for a full/part time position. I currently live in Santa Ana. A little bit of my history: I was a full time nanny for a 3-month-old infant, and a 2-year-old girls for 2 years and absolutely loved the experience. I speak English and Spanish fluently and have taught my charges how to speak Spanish, which I can teach your child. I am CPR and First Aid certified, a non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record. I am also a dog owner so I would definitely not mind being around your cute dog. Mayra's friendly, great with kids, and my boys loved her. We wish it would have worked out, but there was a lack of communication and professionalism. Interviewed her and felt it was a good match. We did an in-person interview (Fri.) so she could meet the boys. I wanted to make sure that they felt comfortable with her. I wasn't 100% about her due to her availability (3hrs a day), but working from home I was desperate for help. We liked her enough to move forward and give it a try for a week and see if the schedule worked for both of us. The day after, she texted that she got a 2x days a week job offer. I agreed to the 3 days and the Monday start date. Sunday she says she came in contact with someone who tested positive. I was very understanding. I follow up several times, 10 days later, I'm told she accepted the school job FT and started the day she was supposed to start with us. Didn't appreciate being told she couldn't start because of COVID. No considerations for our family.
