About Mayra

My earliest experiences with taking care of children was when I would help my mom take care of 2 twins, 1 toddler and 1 infant. I was 16-17 years old at the time and learned so much from watching my mom helping them with their HW, preparing their meals, driving them to their after school activities, and playing with them whether it was arts and crafts or building legos. I am a big animal lover. I have 2 dogs. Chico and Lulu. Our times together include but are not limited to: snuggling at home, hiking at Cold Spring Harbor, swimming (of course in the summer), and running in open fields. I am currently in nursing school at Molloy University for my second degree. I am required to be CPR trained and be Flu vaccinated. I am compassionate, empathetic, caring and take pride in helping others. Hobbies: I played the flute from elementary to high school. I am very artistic and enjoy free drawing and coloring. I enjoy the outdoors especially in the Fall!
