I have over 6 years of experience as a professional nanny. I started tutoring in 2020, during the COVID- 19 pandemic. I tutor a pod of 4 kids: 7 years old boy in 1st grade, an 8-year-old in 2nd grade, and two girls of 11 years old in the 6th grade. One of the kids was special needs and with developmental delays. I was the only adult in the house (pod) responsible for the 4 kids while they were taking simultaneously online classes . My duties were: - assist with online classes - Assist with homework after class - troubleshoot internet or computer connection - prepare materials for activities - Organize multiple classes calendars - Make sure after-school activities and homework were done in time for the next class - Communicate with parents and teachers about children's school development - Encourage children to learn and make it fun - Prepare snacks and play outdoors during breaks I also have experience volunteering in a cultural summer camp in Russia over the summer.
