About Mayra

I have served as a caregiver the majority of my life. Including an 8 year history of helping to raise my nephew as an infant, due to the tragic passing of his mother only two days after he was born. I also worked as a Nanny for 3 children ages, 3, 5, 7 for more than 3 years. My strength and passion is to be sensitive to children's individual needs and create a caring and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I believe the most important characteristics of being a nanny is a genuine love of children, along with having common sense, as endless decisions have to be made when caring for children throughout the day. Someone who can assess an emergency situation, make good choices about simple things like what to make for lunch, or how to handle a surprise mess! I am trustworthy, reliable, punctual and most notably flexible a trait that is vitally important when working with families and children.
