About Mayla

I'd describe my personality as patient, enthusiastic, and caring. I like working with kids because they bring youthful joy to my life. I truly believe it's important for kids to have positive relationships with people in the community. I'm looking for an after-school nanny that can go into the summer as well. I can also be a babysitter, dog-walker, and do light housework when needed. I started working with kids when I was in high school. Ever summer I would volunteer at my local preschools summer program until I graduated, now I work for Sonoma Water as an Environmental Educator. In my spare time, I like to draw and color, read books, and walking/hiking around nature. My younger brother is on the Autism spectrum, so although I am not "professionally" trained, I am very comfortable working with children with special needs.
