Hello I'm Maya! I have a BA from Western Washington University. I have a second degree black belt in taekwondo. I have taken classes in Early Childhood Development, and am always looking for ways to learn more! I have watched kids from Newborn to 15. I have taught martial arts, been a Ninja Coach (martial arts, gymnastics, and parkour), a swim instructor, and worked in a children's and women's shelter in Kenya. I have worked closely with students with special needs, specifically autism and down syndrome, and their parents to ensure an accommodating environment that focuses on safety and inclusion. I love Harry Potter, Disney, and Theatre. I am a very active person I've played most sports and love the outdoors. Reading. writing, and arts and crafts, or anything that stimulates creativity and imagination is my favorite hobby. I love teaching and have experience in tutoring.
