About Maya

I am an experienced and enthusiastic caregiver who loves working with children of all ages. I have been babysitting and nannying for years, tutored and taught students from kindergarten through high school, and spent four summers working as a camp counselor at a month-long sleep away camp. I graduated from Pitzer College in 2019 with a degree in both psychology and neuroscience. On the weekends, I worked as a teacher in a local extracurricular program. I am CPR and first-aid certified, comfortable with animals, and am delighted to take on any and all child-care responsibilities. I previously worked full-time at a mental health startup. Throughout my five years there, I remained passionate about caring for and educating kids and was eager to do so in whatever capacity I could. After leaving my job at the start of the year, I'm excited to be able to do so on a larger scale. I look forward to hearing from you!
