About Maya

Hi my name is Maya! I am 25 years old and live in downtown Madison! My love of working with children started through babysitting and progressed into teaching swimming lessons! I taught children ages 6 months to 18 years old to swim! for 6 years. I mostly taught children ages 5-10 years old and loved seeing them grow more confident in their aquatic environment! I graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education in 2022. I have been working as an elementary school teacher on the West side of Madison for the last 3 years. I have experience teaching students of all ability level including children with Autism, ADHD, physical mobility impairments, non-verbal children, etc. I have worked for the last 3 years as a pet/house sitter as well! I would love to be your summer babysitter and help in anyway needed! I have a reliable insured car with no tickets, educational experience, a CPR and first aid certification, and an open summer to have fun! I look forward to hearing from you!
