My experience with caretaking began when I was hired by a neighbor as a "Mother's Helper" in sixth grade. As she would get ready for work, I would get her toddler ready for daycare. As got older I graduated babysitting, often working repeatedly for the same families. I have had experience with families of different backgrounds, as well as with children with learning and behavioral differences. I love to engage the kids I watch over with lots of games, crafts, and activities that I can find or make. With my activities, I often try to place emphasis on having kids explore their own creativity. My ultimate goal with the kids I watch over is to engage them in a way that is best suited to their needs and safety!

Maya is warm, gregarious, dependable, considerate, firm when necessary and very trustworthy, and my kids loved her because she made everything super fun! She was also very flexible and helped me out last minute when my family's plans changed. Awesome sitter!
