Hello! I am a college graduate who has achieved her degree in biology with a minor in statistics. I am passionate about working with children and engaging in science, math, and anything creative! I have experience working with all ages. I currently work as a teacher at private school as well as a private tutor. I was a nanny for three years which ended due to the child going to kindergarten. I enacted gentle parenting techniques, created age appropriate lesson plans, and always prioritized a safe space so that the child felt empowered and provided a place for curiosity to grow. Pre-Covid, I worked at environmental after school program where I care for elementary school children. I consider each child's interest, whether that be creative play, like painting, or more docile interests, like reading. We were incredibly fortunate to have Maya as our nanny for our two young boys. She was exceptional in every way, engaging our children with imaginative play, arts and crafts, and even fun science experiments. She has a patient and caring nature that showed in how she followed their schedules and ensured they felt comfortable and happy. One of the things that truly stood out about Maya was her commitment to outdoor activities. Every time she was with our boys, she took them on nature walks, to the playground, and even to the pool. Maya was always punctual, and her communication was both professional and timely. Our children absolutely adore her, and we are so grateful for the positive impact she had on our family during a time of transition after our move. She made that period much easier for us all. We highly recommend Maya to any family looking for a caring, reliable, and engaging nanny.
