About Maya

I'm a creative and friendly childcare provider with a genuine passion for helping children grow and develop. With three years of experience, babysitting and leading childcare at the church. I've worked with many different children with different needs. I love being with kids and I believe that play is an essential part of learning. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I also love arts and crafts, and I'm always looking for new and creative ways to engage children's imaginations. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' lead. I believe that communication is key, and I make it a point to keep parents updated on their child's day, either verbally at pickup or through regular text or phone call updates, whichever the parents prefer. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and have experience with children aged 6month-8years. I'm also comfortable with pets.
