About Maya

I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing, yet fun environment. I am currently on my journey to become a pediatric nurse and have always wanted to help kids of all ages. I have two years of experience caring for youth and am comfortable with many at once. I am patient, friendly, and reliable. I communicate openly with parents about their child. I am comfortable enforcing household rules while keeping a fun environment. As a previous employee of Boys and Girls club, I have taken coursework in early child development, and am certified in First Aid and CPR, and hold a food handler card. I also have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am willing to help with any household needs.
