My approach is centered on ensuring each child's comfort and engagement & leveraging my creativity in devising fun and educational activities. I have a passion for exploring a child's interests and hobbies, reading books, and most importantly, building strong, positive relationships. My goal is to offer parents peace of mind, knowing their little ones are safe and happy in the hands of a reliable and caring babysitter. I have a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MS in Education from Johns Hopkins. I'm pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute. I'm committed to enhancing kids' social and academic skills and instilling a love for learning, fun and kindness. I am CPR and first aid certified, am comfy with pets, have a car, am fluent in Spanish and can cook.

We had a wonderful experience with Maya. She was incredibly engaging with our boys, ages 4 and 7, keeping them entertained with fun games and creative activities. Her positive energy and patience made it easy for them to connect with her. They couldn't stop talking about all the fun they had. I was working from home the first day I hired her, and after that I was confident they were in capable hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and enthusiastic babysitter!
