About Mayah

Hello Families! I am a School Psychologist employed at 2 elementary schools and 1 middle school. My career working with children began during the pandemic. I worked at a residential unit for children who have experienced trauma. I found my passion for caregiving and superpowers of empathy and patience while working there. Afterward, I taught 3rd grade at a school of children with Autism. Because I started my master's program for School Psychology at Rowan University, I had to move and began working at a local daycare. I taught in classrooms aged 0-5, with my longest experience as the lead teacher in the infant classroom. I have now moved back to Maryland to begin my career and I am looking for part-time positions to help families in any way I can. I hope to hear from you soon.
