About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya and I babysat for about seven years in my hometown before moving to Iowa City where I've been caring for children in various positions for about eight years. I've worked at Kinder farm Preschool and currently work. I am very patient, imaginative, and empathetic. I love taking care of and hanging out with children, whether we're going to a park, coloring at home, or reading a book before bedtime:) I am positive-minded and very confident in my child-care skills. I believe in having lots of fun but cleaning up when its time, I believe in showing kiddos how to be a good and caring individual, and I strongly encourage them to be themselves and accept others for who they are as well. Children are a wonderful light and I choose to be a positive impact on their lives.
