About Maya

Hey, I'm Maya! I'm based in Henniker NH. As a teenager I started working at Pats Peak as a snowboard instructor, and I have continued to work there over the past 8 winters seasons. After highschool I got a job in food service, which taught me a lot about food preparation, handling, and safety. I then ventured back into childcare in the form of substitute teaching, and that experience was very rewarding. Some days I would manage full classes, and other days I would be one on one with various special needs students. I've worked with many different personalities and learning abilities, and have found teaching tools that cater to the student's needs to help them be successful. While some experiences may not have been positive at first, we always worked together to have a better outcome. My sisters have had success using care. com and recommended it to me.
