Hello! My name is Maya and I am a 22-year-old military wife and pet mom originally from Texas. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Texas State University and have completed 1 year of my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from Walden University. I am taking a break from school to make the transition from online to in-person classes and am hoping to go back to nannying for awhile. During my time in undergrad, I worked as the primary caregiver for a young woman with Autism. Most recently, I worked as a substitute teacher during the 22-23 school year. I worked in short and long-term positions with all grades but spent the most time with 2nd and 11th graders. I enjoy outdoor activities like swimming and walking. I also enjoy visiting the aquarium and creative activities like dancing and coloring!
