About Maya

My name is Maya . I have a deep passion for kids. I have 3 years experience working with kids. I coach 2 elementary teams as of right now. I have been a summer camp counselor for the past 2 years. I have taken child care courses at Lawson State Community college. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, goofy, and easy going. I like working with kids because kids will always remember those individual who took time to notice, love, and pour in to them growing up. I want kids to know that someone cares about them and will always want the best for them. I want to be able to leave an impact on every child life I interact with. I started working with kids when I was in the 6th grade. In my spare time, I like to write poetry. I love shopping and I'm also a cheer coach. One thing you should know about me is I have a loving and caring heart. I see the good in everyone and want the best for everyone. My skills include fair discipline, interaction, and understanding.
