About Maya

I am familiar with childcare from taking care of my own families children to working in the summers and volunteering in classrooms in addition to professional nanny experience with ages ranging from two months to 12 years. I am capable and comfortable with running small groups in an elementary school classroom environment and am capable of watching many children at once while maintaining a safe environment. I have my Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certifications as well as the Red Cross Babysitting Basics. I am ServeSafe Certified with a valid allergens and food protection managers license, I love to encourage children to join me when preparing food depending on their age to make meals more meaningful and fun while also laying the groundwork for practical life skills. I love getting to know each child and family I work with, each is unique and watching as they evolve in safe, fun, and supportive environments is incredibly fulfilling
