About Maya

Hi there! My name is Maya, and I'm prospective nursing student with a B. S. in Rehabilitation and Recreational Therapy from FIU. I've worked with students across all grade levels, from Kindergarten through high school and college, and have extensive experience tutoring in subjects like math, science (including microbiology), reading, writing, and study/organizational skills. As a former substitute teacher, microbiology teacher's assistant, and camp counselor, I know how to adapt my approach to fit each student's unique learning style. I'm patient, energetic, and love helping students build both confidence and academic skills.
