About Maya

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, adventurous, and nurturing I like working with kids because they are simply awesome! As an adult, children keep me sharp, creative and entertained Ideally, I would love a job that will be fulfilling and changing every day. This job will also be a means to help pay my school fees. When my little brother was born, getting paid to care for him was the sweetest gig while I was in high school. I immediately quit my job at Walgreens. I now work as a 1:1 school aide for children with special needs. I like to go on walks, shop and find new activities to do with friends. I love going to the movies and trying different restaurants. I am a faithful believer and I value my relationship with God. In His word, it is stated how precious children are and quite frankly, I see that to be true in every encounter that I have with them. My skills include empathy and compassion, hygiene and potty training, and overall child development.
