About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya and I am a 20-year-old college student living in Carlsbad. I have been babysitting for years, have taught dance locally to ages 5-18 as a substitute teacher, and have worked other retail/costumer service positions as well. Some facts about me: - I was a competitive dancer for the majority of my life. I entered UC Irvine as a dance major, and I am currently taking local classes to transfer elsewhere. - I am an alumni of Evoke Dance Movement in Carlsbad. There, I was a teachers assistant for many years and have been teaching there as a substitute whenever needed for the last several years. -I have always excelled in literature and writing. Having graduated high school with a high GPA and several honors and AP classes, I feel as though I am qualified to help young students with basic reading, writing, and grammar.
