Hello! My name is Maya and I am a psychology student at Harvard training to be a child psychologist. I'm friendly, warm, passionate, caring, and enthusiastic. I have experience with children with physical and psychological conditions and their families. I worked as an Associate Teacher assisting children with severe special needs. My primary role here was to work individually with special needs students, following them to each of their classes and differentiating the course material to be a more appropriate level for that student. I also served as an Assistant Teacher in Middle and Upper School classes in all subjects. I worked at a preschool with children ages 1-5. I have served as a Counselor at a summer camp for children ages 5-12 who have Autism, Down Syndrome, severe ADHD, and ODD.
