I volunteer as a recreation specialist at an Assisted Living Facility in their hospital and Memory Care Center. I primarily work with patients diagnosed with multiple types of dementia including Alzheimer's Disease, Frontal-Temporal Dementia, Vascular Dementia, and Parkinson's Disease. I have also been assisting my 86-year-old grandmother for many years helping with dressing, showering, medication management, light housework, groceries, and other daily living tasks.
