I'm a new parent to a baby girl and I wanted someone home with her to be able to provide better 1 on 1 care than a daycare could provide. I wanted to take this opportunity to make furniture on the side but a 7-month-old requires a lot of attention so I figured I could watch other peoples kids as well. This gives me the opportunity to pay my bills and know my kiddo is also looked after. I like working with kids because I like to see how they experience the world and it reminds me of being a kid. I started working with kids when I had my first kid in 01/2024 and when I myself was a kid. I believe childcare is intuitive as long as you care to be a good caretaker. In my spare time I like to build furniture. Having a little one makes it difficult to have spare time but when I have some it's usually spent woodworking. (855 character limit)
