Good day my name is Maxine and I have been working with kids since 1999. I began my journey working with the special needs population since 2001. I have been working at Wagon Road camp for over 18 years providing respite care services for families in need of a break from the city life. We provide support and assistance to kids that have extra needs in regards to basic living skills. I have also volunteered for an organization where we would host parties and day trips for adults with special needs. I have an Associate Degree in Health Science and hold the title of a medical assistant. I am currently employed by a private school and work as a teachers assistant. I love what I do and am honored to be in this field working with a variety of cultures and personalities alike. Thank you so kindly for taking the time to look into my profile good luck finding the proper person to be of support to your family. Have a great day.

My daughter loves Maxine. As a teen, my daughter has difficulty sustaining positive interactions with others. However, she experiences Ms. C as fun and easy to talk to about a range of topics. Engaging teens, especially neuro atypical teens can be very difficult, but Ms. C knows how to distract with interesting teen topics, how to de-escalate and how to read cues to direct her next steps. If your child needs someone who can help them foster relatedness and social skills, Ms. C is someone to call.
