Hi my name is Max, I grew up helping out with caring for my aunt Valerie who has Down syndrome. From her I developed a love for helping others. When I was 15 I met a family with a child how is autistic and Deaf they needed a babysitter and I volunteered. Through the years of taking care of him I learned ASL and learned more about autism. I continued to babysit children with disabilities for many years and loved the experience. When I turned 21 I started working as a behavioral therapist and I also got a part time job with a new family as a companion for their teenage son who was independent in most aspects but needed help for some daily activities. I am more than happy to help out with any daily living tasks.
