About Max

Hi! I'm max, or Mr. E to my students. I am an 8th grade teacher working at a Chicago Public School on the southwest side of Chicago. I am looking to tutor anyone student, or students, who are looking for help in regards to: -executive functioning -social studies (history, civics, economics, geography...) -AP/honors courses -test prep Although I currently work with 8th grade, I have lots of experiences both teaching and tutoring AP, honors and IB level. I like tutoring because I can connect 1-1 with kids and really deep dive into their needs and how to best assist. My goal is to make you the best version of yourself, and when that happens, it's a HUGE win One thing you should know about me is I care- a lot. I transitioned my career from a high powered sales gig to teaching because I was not fulfilled in sales by making money, however I am very fulfilled in teaching youth! I absolutely love my job as a teacher and tutor.
