About Maureen

I am a Mom, a Grandma, a daughter, a sister, a wife & a caretaker. I raised 4 children, helped raise 4 grandchildren. Worked in Corporate America as well for over 25 years. After retiring 3-1/2 years ago I found myself bored. What was to be temporary help for a friend of a friends parents turned out to be a permanent part time position. Was then contacted to be a Companion for another elderly gentleman which I gladly accepted. I very much enjoyed being a companion/caretaker for the elderly. Unfortunately 2 of those clients passed away. I have worked with 2 Clients w/different types of Dementia as well as taking care of my Dad who suffered from Alzheimers & Macular Degeneration until he passed. One client went into Memory Care 5 weeks ago, the other who I am still caring for will be going into a Memory Care facility on September 1, 2024. I also cared for 2 children, ages 6 & 4 before & after school for the 2023-24 school year. I love taking care of people, young and old.
