About Maureen

I'm a childcare provider with over two decades of experience, and I'm passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. I believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which to grow and learn. I'm patient and calm, and I have a friendly and approachable personality. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and boundaries. I believe that clear expectations help children to feel safe and secure. Communication is key, so I make sure to keep parents updated on their child's day, both verbally at pickup and through their preferred communication method. I'm also happy to discuss any issues or concerns that may arise. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from board games and puzzles to educational games that promote learning. I also love drawing and coloring with them. I have some college education under my belt and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I'm also happy to provide references upon request.
