About Maureen

Hi there! I'm a student at CSULA working on becoming a school counselor. I started babysitting as a teenager, which fueled my passion for teaching and mentoring. I have 10+ years of experience in childcare: I spent 2 years at a daycare/summer camp, 3 years at a high school, and I've worked closely with families as a nanny for over 10 years. I have the most experience working with and caring for children ages 6 months to 10 years old. I enjoy being active outside playing sports, riding bikes, or going for a stroll. I also like to be creative with crafts, painting, singing, and dancing. I believe my experience as an after-school teacher, summer camp counselor, and high school theater coach has thoroughly prepared me to assist with after-school care or date-night babysitting.
