I'd describe my personality as caring, out going and a good sense of humor. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy listening to their stories, I feel deeply rewarded when I can help or assist a senior who needs various types of help and doesn't necessarily have a lot of local family support. I enjoy providing companionship. I started caring for seniors 20 years ago while working for an independent and assisted living community. I started working one on one with seniors five years ago and can provide references. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, meet with friends and family. Travel when possible. families can ask me anything about me that may be important to them. My skills include downsizing, perform as liaison when needed, personal shopping, physician visits, light meal preparation, tech support.
