About Maura

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, joyful, and observant! I like working with kids because I believe caring for the next generation is a gift and privilege. I enjoy learning and watching the way children think and are creative, which makes me desire to pursue curiosity and creativity even more in my own life and pursuits. I grew up the third of 11 children with loving parents so I have been surrounded by children of all ages my whole life. Around the age of 14 I began helping a couple moms as a mommy's helper which progressed into babysitting and serving childcare for church. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing my guitar and singing, taking walks or jog outside in nature and hanging out with friends! One thing you should know about me is I value my faith in Jesus Christ. This is very important to me and because of this, I believe in honesty and love and honoring others My skills include being attentive to others and their needs, responsible and having fun!
